  • NAO-2015-00849 / 15-V1607 15-day Public Notice (Hickory Woods Subdivision, Chesapeake, VA)

    The permittee requests modification of the permit for a time extension from the date of expiration (September 21, 2023). The proposed activities include permanently impacting 0.20 acre of palustrine forested (PFO) wetlands, 1.9 acres of palustrine emergent (PEM) wetlands, and 0.08 acre of palustrine open water (POW) for the purpose of constructing a mixed used residential development with commercial amenities known as Hickory Woods. Public comment should be received by the close of business on January 23, 2024.

  • NAO-2023-01709 (Joyner Mitigation Bank, Prince William County, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 2/7/2024

    The Sponsor proposes to design, construct, establish, and operate Joyner Mitigation Bank (Bank). The sponsor is proposing to generate 68.24 wetland credits through 93.42 acres of wetland preservation, 4.67 acres of wetland enhancement, 54.57 acres of wetland creation, and 33.26 acres of upland buffer restoration. Public comment should be received by the close of business on February 7, 2024.

  • NAO-2023-02244 (Stagecoach Farm Mitigation Bank, Fluvanna County and Goochland County, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 1/17/2024

    The Sponsor proposes to design, construct, establish, and operate Stagecoach Farm Mitigation Bank (Bank). The Sponsor proposes to generate 8,972 stream credits through a combination of restoration, enhancement, and preservation of 18,565 linear feet of streams and through restoring and enhancing 91 acres of riparian buffers. The purpose of the Bank is to provide off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result in unavoidable impacts to waters of the U.S. including streams. Public comment should be received by the close of business on January 17, 2024

  • NAO-2008-02007 (KempDel, Inc. and RIXRE2, LLC, Virginia Beach, Virgina)

    Expiration date: 1/15/2024

    KempDel, Inc. and RIXRE2, LLC propose permanent impacts to 4.40 acres of palustrine forested wetlands and the permanent conversion of 0.06 acres of palustrine forested wetlands to palustrine emergent wetlands for the construction of roads, building lots, a stormwater pond, a Floodplain Mitigation Area (FMA), and infrastructure associated with the Nimmo Quay 123-lot, single-family residential subdivision north of Nimmo Parkway in Virginia Beach, VA. Public comment should be received by the close of business on January 15, 2024.

  • NAO-2014-00708 (James River Water Authority, Fluvanna County, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 12/22/2023

    The James River Water Authority is requesting a Nationwide Permit #58 for the construction of a new raw water intake off the James River with associated transmission infrastructure that runs to an existing interconnection point near the Town of Columbia. The water supply infrastructure will service both Fluvanna and Louisa Counties. Public comment should be received by the close of business on December 22, 2023.
