The Corps has determined that the project will have an adverse effect on-site a log house determined to be eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The Corps, Virginia Department of Historic Resources, the permittee and other consulting parties are proposing to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

The project is approximately 241 acres and is located on the west line of Route 1, south of the Chickahominy River, in Henrico County, Virginia. The project site drains into the Chickahominy River, a tributary to the James River.
