    The applicant, Elizabeth River Crossings, OpCo, LLC is proposing modifications to the Midtown Tunnel construction permit which was originally issued in November 2012 for work in the Elizabeth River in the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth. These modifications include deeper dredge cuts to remove unsuitable materials, revisions to the location and design of three temporary piers, and the use of timber pilings to support turbidity curtains. Public comment period ends Jan. 31, 2013.

    Capital One Services, LLC proposes to discharge fill material in forested wetlands to construct an approximately 150,000 square feet one-story building to be used for data center expansion, customer service center, and/or administrative office in Chesterfield County, Va. The project also includes the construction of approximately 900 parking spaces. Public comment period ends Nov. 30, 2012.

    The applicant proposes to mechanically dredge 2.77 acres within a man-made cove (0.32 acres within the James River), construct a 400 ft bulkhead, dry dock, large truck parking and storage on approximately 32 acre parcel off the James River. The purpose of the project is to construct a marine terminal to allow for barge access; unloading and storage of large recyclable materials and other commodities; and stormwater management.

    The applicant proposes to discharge fill material in 0.08 acre of palustrine scrub-shrub wetlands to construct a permanent access road to an existing regional storm water management facility located within the project limits. Cumulative impacts to waters of the U.S. for the development of Northlake Industrial Park are approximately 2.7 acres. The public comment period ends Sept 14, 2012.
