    The applicant, PCN, LLC proposes to construct sheet pile wall with associated rip rap along the southern boundary of the property known as Curles Neck Farm in order to manage the wetland and open water area of the farm for waterfowl habitat. Public comment period ends June 21, 2013.

    The bank sponsor proposes to establish, design, construct and operate a compensatory stream mitigation bank to be known as the Lower James Stream Mitigation Bank. The purpose of the mitigation bank is to provide off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result in unavoidable impacts to non-tidal streams in the James River Watershed.     The applicant, Elizabeth River Crossings, OpCo, LLC is proposing modifications to the Midtown Tunnel construction permit which was originally issued in November 2012 for work in the Elizabeth River in the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth. These modifications include deeper dredge cuts to remove unsuitable materials, revisions to the location and design of three temporary piers, and the use of timber pilings to support turbidity curtains. Public comment period ends Jan. 31, 2013.
