On June 21, the Norfolk District Regulatory Branch issued a public notice soliciting comments as part of the scoping process for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement to evaluate project alternatives and public-interest review factors for the Virginia Electric Power Company (Dominion) proposal known as the “Surry-Skiffes Creek-Whealton Aerial Transmission Line Project.”
In response to several requests, the comment period will be extended until Sept. 3.
