    Fairfax – Department Public Works & Environmental Services proposes construction of the Huntington Levee and Pump Station Project. The purpose of the constructed levee and pumping station is to protect the homes and other property in the Huntington neighborhood from flooding. The project is located in Cameron Run and unnamed tributaries to Cameron Run in Huntington Park at the northern end of Liberty Drive in Fairfax County, Virginia.

    Based on analysis of several precipitation recording stations and reference groundwater monitoring wells within the Hampton Roads region, the Norfolk District has determined that antecedent precipitation conditions have been within normal ranges for Lake Kilby, Langley & Williamsburg, and above normal ranges for Norfolk. Based on plant biological activity the growing season in southeastern Virginia started by the last week in February.
