    Roslyn Farm Corporation proposes to construct the approximately 40-acre Chudoba Industrial Park in Prince George County, VA. The project would provide “pad ready” commercial/industrial sites on property within the Virginia Enterprise Zone. The project is an industrial/commercial development of three large warehouse buildings (47,000 to 135,200 square feet) each with associated truck parking/docking and employee parking. The project would result in permanent impacts to approximately 1.42 acres of non-tidal wetlands associated with unnamed tributaries to Blackwater Swamp. Public Notice comment period ends 10 March 2016.

    The applicant proposes to dredge approximately 89,257 cubic yards of material to a maximum depth of -10 feet below mean low water from approximately 296,208 square feet of subaqueous bottom within Wormley Creek and the York River. The project will realign the existing channel where Wormely Creek meets the York River, and create a channel to the existing boat ramp at the Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown. The dredged material from the channel will be removed by mechanical or hydraulic cutterhead dredge methods during the initial and future maintenance dredging cycles. The sandy dredged material from the entrance of the channel will be used as beach nourishment along the York River shoreline of the Coast Guard Training Center York, and the fine dredge material will be transported by bottom dump scow to the Wolftrap Alternate Placement Site within the Chesapeake Bay.

    The proposed action is to hydraulically or mechanically dredge the Wormley Creek Channel located at the United States Coast Guard Training Center in Yorktown, Va., to a maintained depth of -7 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) plus -2 feet paid overdepth and -1 foot non-paid overdepth for a maximum depth of -10 feet MLLW. Dredging of the Wormley Creek Channel will remove approximately 75,000 cubic yards of dredged material in approximately 6.8 acres.

    The applicant proposes to construct a 40-foot overhead utility line corridor to provide electricity to operate two new sump pumps for leachate management to new cells at the Maplewood Landfill and to complete construction of the perimeter road previously permitted but not completed prior to permit expiration. The project is located on Maplewood Branch a tributary of the Appomattox and James Rivers and the Chesapeake Bay of at the intersection of U.S.n360 and Maplewood Road in Amelia County, Virginia.
