    NASA Wallops' has submitted an application to re-nourish their shoreline back to pre-Hurricane Sandy conditions in order to protect NASA, US NAVY, and MARS facilities on the island. The project will include dredging, beach nourishment, and the placement of breakwaters along the shoreline of Wallops Island Flight Facility.

  • NAO-2016-00734/18-V0012

    Expiration date: 6/21/2018

    Alpha Omega Farm Inc. et al proposes to mechanically dredge approximately 3,633 cubic yards of material to maintain an existing channel out to West Neck Creek, at 2585 West Landing Road in Virginia Beach, VA. The dredging will impact 0.98 acres (42,744 square feet) of subaqueous land, 0.1 acres (4,635 square feet) of vegetated emergent wetlands within the 2x and 4x buffer, and 0.01 acres (362 square feet) of forested wetlands at the unloading area.
