The project site is located within the potential National Register boundary of the Darbytown & New Market Roads Battlefield, the Darbytown Road Battlefield, and the Fair Oaks & Darbytown Road Battlefield.     Henrico County Department of Public Works is proposing to construct a new 1,250 foot segment of Creighton Road between Sandy Lane and Dabbs House Road as well as widening the existing Creighton Road to a four-lane divided roadway with a raised concrete median, turn lanes in select locations and sidewalks to improve motorist and pedestrian safety. Public comments should be received by the close of business on April 8, 2022
