    The project is located on the James River a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, off U.S. Route 5 within a larger property known as Curles Neck Farm, Henrico County, Virginia. The applicant proposes to construct a sand and gravel mining pit on 130 acres and the materials will leave directly from the site via barge on the James River or by truck on U.S. Route 5. The applicants stated purpose is to provide construction materials for construction activities.

    HHHunt proposes to construct Phase II (166 acres) of a residential development to be known as River Mill. Phase I of the development (75 acres) was previously authorized under the SPGP and the applicant is seeking reauthorization of Phase I under the individual permit process. The project is approximately 241 acres and is located on the west line of Route 1, south of the Chickahominy River, in Henrico County, Virginia. The project site drains into the Chickahominy River, a tributary to the James River.

    Expiration date: 4/3/2017

    The project site is approximately 23 acres and is generally located south of Route 60, south east of Bottoms Bridge, east of White Oak Road, in Henrico County, Virginia. The project site drains into the Chickahominy River, a tributary to the James River, a navigable water of the U.S. The applicant proposes to conduct mining activities within existing mining area. The applicant proposes to import approximately 370,000 cubic yards of fill material to the site once mining is complete. The fill material will be placed approximately 2-3 feet below the surrounding ground elevation and will be subsequently converted back to open water. These impacts were previously authorized but not taken prior to the expiration date of the permit. The project will temporarily impact approximately 19 acre of open water. No compensatory mitigation is required.

  • 2007-01261, 15-V1399

    Expiration date: 7/23/2016

    Gillies Creek Recycling Center is proposing to expand the existing facility by constructing additional storage space. The project will consist of two phases, and it will impact a total of 4.7 acres of forested wetlands, 1,683 linear feet of ephemeral channel, and 0.2 acre of excavated ditch. Impacts will be mitigated for by purchasing 9.4 wetland credits and 723 stream credits.

    The applicant proposes to construct phase II of a multi-use development know as Holloway including 110 townhomes, 130 single family homes, and roads in Henrico County, Virginia. Public comment period ends Oct. 22, 2015.
