  • NAO-2023-02174 (Hogans Belt Mitigation Bank, Loudoun County, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 5/11/2024

    The Sponsor proposes to design, construct, establish, and operate Hogans Belt Mitigation Bank (Bank). The sponsor is proposing 35.03 wetland credits be generated through wetland creation (22.6 acres), wetland enhancement (24.7 acres), wetland preservation (1 acre), upland buffer reforestation (25.9 acres), and forest preservation (7.1 acres) across two project areas. The purpose of the Bank is to provide off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result in unavoidable impacts to waters of the U.S. including wetlands. Comments should be received by the close of business on May 11, 2024.
  • NAO-2023-00311 (I-64 Gap A, New Kent County, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 5/9/2024

    Construction of additional travel lanes along I-64 in the first of three “Gap” segments that will adjoin segments of I-64 that have a minimum of six travel lanes. The proposed addition of a third travel lane in each direction will increase connectivity between Richmond and Hampton Roads. Public comments should be received by the close of business on May 9, 2024.
  • Federal Public Notice

    The Norfolk District Regulatory Branch is proposing to hold monthly meetings for Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Design-Build contractors (post-award) and localities operating under the VDOT Locally Administered Projects (LAP) Program. These meetings will occur on the second Monday of each the month, from 1-2pm, beginning May 13, 2024.
  • NAO-2024-00409 (West Area High School, Chesterfield, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 4/24/2024

    Chesterfield County is proposing to construct a new high school, known as West Area High School, including construction of an approximately 266,000 square foot academic building, parking lots, bus loop, drop off loop, two baseball fields, two softball fields, six tennis courts, a full-length football field, track, and three natural grass fields located south of Horsepen Creek and north of Duval Road in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Public comments should be received by the close of business on April 24, 2024.

    Main Street Homes is proposing to construct 150 single-family homes on 268 acres north of Beach Road (SR 655), east of Brandy Oaks Boulevard, west of Derryveach Drive, and south of Third Branch in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Comments should be received by the close of business on April 10, 2024.
