  • NAO-1988-00021 - Availability of Final EIS SPSA Regional Landfill Expansion

    Expiration date: 3/31/2025

    Availability of Final EIS for the Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA) Regional Landfill Expansion. The Notice of Availability for the Final EIS was published in the Federal Register on February 28, 2025. Federal, State and Local agencies, as well as private individuals, organizations or groups, are invited to provide comment for our consideration as we work towards development of a Record of Decision (ROD). The FEIS is not the decision document. Rather, its purpose is to inform the public and other agencies of potential impacts associated with the Applicant’s proposal. The Corps will execute a final decision regarding the proposed action and complete a ROD no sooner than 30 days (March 31, 2025) following publication of the Notice of Availability of the Final EIS. Comments must be received by the Corps by the close of business on March 31, 2025.

    SPSA Landfill Expansion Final Environmental Impact Statement

    Expiration date: 3/27/2025

    Toll Mid-Atlantic LP Company, Inc. request Department of Army authorization to discharge fill and/or dredge material into waters of the US, including wetlands (WOTUS), and for the construction of a 255-lot residential community with associated infrastructure and community amenities. The applicant proposes the project to help alleviate and meet the high housing demands in Loudoun County, Virginia. Comments should be received by close of business on March 27, 2025.

    The applicant proposes to permanently impact 0.185 acres of non-tidal forested wetlands associated with the construction of a single-family residence, detached garage, and associated infrastructure. The Site is called the Rockland Mitigation Bank. All work is to occur in Loudoun County, Virginia. Comments should be received by the close of business on March 9, 2025.

  • NAO-2024-01108 (Mattameade Data Center, Caroline County, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 3/15/2025

    Amazon Data Services, Inc. is proposing to construct a data center campus. The project would permanently impact 4.85 acres of palustrine emergent wetlands (PEM), 0.72 acre of palustrine forested wetlands (PFO), 0.05 acre of palustrine scrub shrub, and 3,153 linear feet of stream channel; temporarily impact 1.17 acres of PEM and 97 linear feet of stream channel; and permanently convert 0.11 acre of PFO to PEM. Comments should be received by the close of business on March 15, 2025.
