  • NAO-2023-02674 (Skyhill Court Subdivision, Loudoun, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 9/11/2025

    The Evergreene Companies, LLC is proposing to construct a six-lot residential subdivision and associated infrastructure within two parcels of land totaling approximately 7.3 acres. The work will result in permanent impacts to 3,248 square feet (0.07 acres) of nontidal emergent wetlands. In compliance with regulations implementing Section 106 of the NHPA, the Corps is soliciting comments on the proposed project from the public; federal, state, and local agencies and officials; Native American Tribes; and other interested parties. This public notice provides an opportunity for members of the public to express their views on the undertaking’s effects on historic properties and resolution of adverse effects. The Corps is requesting comments to assist in evaluation of the effects of the project on historic properties and evaluation of alternatives or modifications which could avoid, minimize, or mitigate adverse effects on historic properties.

  • NAO-2025-00979 (Bridgeport Mitigation Bank, Buckingham, Virginia)

    The Sponsor proposes to design, construct, establish, and operate a compensatory mitigation bank for the purpose of providing off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result in unavoidable impacts to waters of the U.S. The Sponsor has proposed that the Bank will consist of one site, the Bridgeport Mitigation Bank. The Site includes approximately 155 acres. All work is proposed to occur in Buckingham County, Virginia.
  • NAO-2023-02631 (Yadkins Energy Center, Chesapeake, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 8/8/2025

    The applicant is proposing to construct a battery energy storage system (BESS) adjacent to the existing electric utility infrastructure consisting of a 25-acre substation and several high-voltage transmission lines. The proposed activities will result in permanent impacts to 1.89 acres of forested wetlands, 1.53 acres of emergent wetlands, and will permanently convert 0.71 acre of forested wetlands to emergent wetlands. The purpose of the project is to construct a 100 megawatt / 400 megawatt-hour BESS facility that can safely store electricity from an existing power substation.

    Chesterfield County Department of Transportation is proposing to make improvements to the Route 288 to Route 10 Interchange include adding a stop light, widening ramps, and modifying existing stormwater management facilities in Chesterfield County, Virginia.

  • NAO-2024-02957 (Virginia Electric and Power Company, Richmond, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 7/26/2025

    The project includes the replacement of existing aerial crossings of tidal waterways for TL 588 as well as new aerial crossings of tidal waterways for TL 5005. The project proposes to replace the existing TL588 aerial crossing and construct a new TL 5005 aerial crossing of the Dismal Swamp Canal in Chesapeake, Virginia. The project is in the Lower Chesapeake watershed.
