    Branch Highways, in consultation with VDOT, is proposing to complete the final phase of a three-part expansion on Route 3 from the Orange County line to the Route 3/Route 522 intersection. The applicant is proposing to widen the two-lane road to a four-lane divided highway. The purpose of the widening project is to improve traffic safety along the heavily traveled corridor between the city of Fredericksburg and the town of Culpeper. Public comment period ends Dec. 19, 2014.

  • Buckroe Beach Formerly Used Defense Site Comment Period and Public Meeting

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is proposing placing land use controls, such as signs, training and education materials, for the Buckroe Beach Formerly Used Defense Site in Hampton, Virginia.     Liberty University, LLC proposes to permanently impact 1.14 acres of palustrine forested wetlands in order to expand the existing "Athletic Precinct" of the campus in the City of Lynchburg, Virginia.
