    The Virginia Department of Transportation proposes to relocate Route 742 with a bridge over the Route 58 bypass and construct an interchange at the intersection of Routes 58 and 58 Business. An interchange at this location was permitted in 2002, but was not constructed; that permit expired. Comments are due by Jan. 19, 2015.

    Branch Highways, in consultation with VDOT, is proposing to complete the final phase of a three-part expansion on Route 3 from the Orange County line to the Route 3/Route 522 intersection. The applicant is proposing to widen the two-lane road to a four-lane divided highway. The purpose of the widening project is to improve traffic safety along the heavily traveled corridor between the city of Fredericksburg and the town of Culpeper. The approximately 6.3 acre property is located within the existing Liberty University Main Campus boundaries. Public comment period ends Dec. 6, 2014.

    The applicant, Freedom I-66, LLC, is proposing permanent impacts to waters and wetlands of the United States on property known as Freedom I-66. The approximately 84-acre project site is located in Prince William County, Virginia. The project consists of combining two smaller parcels in order to construct a cohesive industrial park, electrical substation and associated infrastructure. Public comment period ends Nov. 24, 2014.
