    The applicant requests authorization to construct a residential development, to be known as Smith Crossing, and associated infrastructure, including residential amenities, interior roads, and utilities. All work is to occur in Prince William County, Virginia.

  • NAO-2025-0692 (Route 750 Bridge Replacement)

    Expiration date: 5/19/2025

    VDOT will be replacing a bridge on Route 750 (Old Turnpike Rd) that crosses a tributary of Stockton Creek in Afton, VA. The existing bridge is a contributing feature of the historic district and the removal of the bridge is considered an adverse effect to the district. The bridge must be replaced due to safety concerns. In compliance with regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the Corps is soliciting comments on the proposed project from the public; federal, state, and local agencies and officials; Native American Tribes; and other interested parties. Comments should be received by the close of business on May 19, 2025.

  • NAO-2013-02047-TREC (25-V0058) Myers Corner

    Crescent Development requests authorization to construction Phase 5 and 6 of the residential development known as Myers Corner. Impacts to waters of the United States are associated with the construction of a stormwater management basin and a sanitary sewer connection. The Norfolk District will receive written comments on the proposed work until May 13, 2025.

    Toll Mid-Atlantic LP Company, Inc. request Department of Army authorization to discharge fill and/or dredge material into waters of the US, including wetlands (WOTUS), and for the construction of a 255-lot residential community with associated infrastructure and community amenities. The applicant proposes the project to help alleviate and meet the high housing demands in Loudoun County, Virginia. Comments should be received by close of business on March 27, 2025.

  • NAO-2022-01520 (HAVI - Ashburn Meadows, Chesapeake, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 1/27/2025

    The applicant is proposing to construct a mixed residential development consisting of approximately 113 single family lots, 20 high-density single family lots, and 204 townhomes within a total development footprint of 79.3 acres to include interior roads, parking lots, and stormwater management facilities. As proposed, the project will result in permanent impacts to 1.37 acres of palustrine forested (PFO) wetlands and 0.21 acre of palustrine emergent (PEM) wetlands. The proposed impacts will result from grading and fill associated with the construction of the planned mixed residential development, interior roads through the site development, site utilities, and stormwater management infrastructure. The purpose of the project is to construct a mixed-residential development to meet the need for housing in this region. Comments should be received by the close of business on January 27, 2025.
