PROPOSED PURPOSE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District Regulatory Branch and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality are hosting a one-day Mitigation Bank/In Lieu Fee (ILF) Workshop for environmental consultants and Bank/ILF Sponsors working within the Commonwealth of Virginia. This Workshop will focus on topics, listed below, related to the Draft 2017 Mitigation Banking Template that was originally Public Noticed on November 16, 2017, and the Public Notice comment period was extended on December 18, 2017.   

The Workshop will be held on July 12, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  During the Workshop we will discuss the Mitigation Banking Instrument and the following Exhibits: 

          -Performance Standards
          -Mitigation Work Plan
          -Monitoring and Reporting
          -Adaptive Management Plan
          -Site Selection Criteria
          -Credit Release Schedule
