    amended 22_SPGP_LT Public Notice

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Norfolk District (Corps) announces an administrative correction to the 22-SPGP- LT. The 22-SPGP- LT was issued on August 4, 2022 and went into effect on August 8, 2022. Via this public notice we announce a correction to the wetland mitigation statement in Section II(b)(4) to properly reflect the 22-SPGP-LT compensation requirements, which are also listed in General Condition 21.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has issued a Notice of Availability (NOA) for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for public comment, and has announced the dates and time of virtual public hearings/meetings.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District has conducted an environmental analysis in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended. The final Integrated Environmental Assessment (EA) dated 14 December 2022, for the Fort Norfolk Pier Rehabilitation and Improvements Project addresses modifying the existing pier to allow for the safe mooring of three (3) 65 feet (ft) vessels at Fort Norfolk and protecting the mooring location from wave action and severe storm events in Norfolk, Virginia.

The project site is located within the St. Mary’s Church Battlefield a historic property potentially eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. In compliance with regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the Norfolk District is soliciting comments on the proposed project from the public; Federal, state, and local agencies and officials; Native American Tribes; and other interested parties.     DWC Holdings, LLC is proposing Phase I of the proposed Rivana at Innovation Station project to construct a mixed-use development providing a walkable urban center connecting to a future Metro station in Loudoun County, Virginia. Phase I will include with 250,000 square feet of office space, 2,000 residential units, a 265-room hotel, and communal open space. Phase II of the project includes 1,185 linear feet of stream restoration associated with a tributary of Horsepen Run within the western portion of the project area. The project is located northeast and adjacent to the Dulles Greenway (State Routes 267) and Sully Road (Route 28) interchange and is bounded to the north and southeast by Innovation Avenue; the former Innovation Avenue currently bisects the study area in Loudoun County, Virginia.
