    The City of Chesapeake proposes to fill a total of 1.45 acres of non-tidal forested and emergent wetlands in order to construct a new Fire Station #10 in the City of Chesapeake. Public comment period ends Aug. 20, 2015.

  • NAO-2015-00980 Fauquier County Sports Complex

    Expiration date: 8/21/2015

    Fauquier County Parks and Recreation is proposing the construction of a public recreational sports complex. The project would include the construction of five rectangular ball fields, six diamond ball fields, a volleyball court, a skating facility and associated storage, maintenance, and restroom facilities. The proposed work also includes the construction of the supporting infrastructure including an access road to the facility, parking areas, stormwater management facilities, and utilities. Public comment period ends Aug. 21, 2015.

    WM Jordan Development LLC has proposed the development of a Tech Center and Research Park associated with Jefferson Labs in Newport News, Virginia, on a 106-acre site, that would result in the fill of 6.72 acres of forested wetlands and 705 feet of tributary ditch drainage channel. Public Notice expires Aug. 13, 2015.

    Cherry Hill Construction Inc. plans to construct the Interstate 564 Intermodal Connector, a four-lane highway, to improve access to the Norfolk Naval Station and the Norfolk International Terminals and to improve traffic congestion. The entire project is located within the city of Norfolk, within the Willoughby Bay-Mason Creek drainage basin. Public Notice expires Aug. 13, 2015.
