    The Sponsor (Davey Mitigation) proposes to design, construct, establish and operate a wetland compensatory mitigation site known as the Kimball Farm Mitigation Bank (Bank). The Bank is located in Fauquier County, VA. The purpose of the compensatory mitigation project is to provide off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result in unavoidable impacts to wetlands and other waters of the United States. Public comments should be received by close of business Dec. 9, 2022.

  • NAO-2022-00318 (Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 11/21/2022

    Nansemond Pre-Cast Concrete, Inc. is proposing to expand their existing concrete pipe manufacturing site to increase production of Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) that is manufactured on site. The proposal includes constructing a new manufacturing plant within a 240’ x 160’ building and adding a 12-acre storage yard. All work would occur at 3737 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, Virginia.

    Dominion Energy Virginia proposes to construct a 2,587-megawatt (MW) offshore wind project, known as the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Commercial Project, located within the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia, which will include associated infrastructure within the cities of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. Public comments should be received by the close of business on October 15, 2022.
  • NAO-2009-00044, Lamberts Point, Norfolk

    Expiration date: 10/1/2022

    The sponsor proposes to construct a 2-acre oyster reef mitigation site to be known as the Lamberts Point Site. The purpose of the mitigation project is to restore oyster reef habitat and to provide off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result in unavoidable impacts to in the Elizabeth River Drainage Basin. Public comments should be received by the close of business on October 1, 2022.

  • NAO-2022-01297, Haywood Marina, Deltaville, Middlesex County

    Expiration date: 9/30/2022

    The applicant proposes to make improvements to an existing marina on Broad Creek to include bulkheading, pier replacement, boat ramp installation, dredging, and living shoreline creation and ecological restoration. The dredged material will be mechanically dredged utilizing an excavator on land, then placed in a dump truck adjacent to the dredged area, allowed to de-water, then moved off-site to an approved upland site (Tax Map 40 34 5A, General Puller Highway). The project will result in the loss of 0.01 acre of tidal vegetated wetlands, 0.01 acre of tidal mudflats, and 0.03 acre of subaqueous bottom. Public comments should be received by the close of business on September 30, 2022.
