Effective Aug. 1, the tolls for placement of dredged material at Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area (CIDMMA) are established as follows:

Deposit in Rehandling Basin by scow: $7.27 per cubic yard
Direct deposit in placement area: $1.84 per cubic yard
The law that established CIDMMA requires all expenditures be amortized over the project life as adopted into law by Congress on May 6, 1946. It directed the Corps of Engineers to "assess a uniform toll charge for rehandling material at the disposal area to recover expenditures for construction, operation, and maintenance of the disposal facilities."
