Fauquier County Parks and Recreation is proposing the construction of a public recreational sports complex. The project would include the construction of five rectangular ball fields, six diamond ball fields, a volleyball court, a skating facility and associated storage, maintenance, and restroom facilities. The proposed work also includes the construction of the supporting infrastructure including an access road to the facility, parking areas, stormwater management facilities, and utilities. Public comment period ends Aug. 21, 2015.

The approximately 47.2 acre Warrenton Crossing project site is bound by Falmouth Street (Route 15) on the north side, Oliver City Road on the south side, Meetze Road on the east and the Eastern Bypass (Route 15/17/29) in the west and is located within the Town of Warrenton, Virginia. The applicant is proposing the construction of a 135 single family home residential development and associated infrastructure.
