    Dominion Energy Virginia has requested a modification to the DA Individual Permit that was issued on January 25, 2024, for the construction of a 2,587-megawatt (MW) offshore wind project, known as the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Commercial Project, located within the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia, which will include associated infrastructure within the cities of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. Comments should be received by the close of business on May 21, 2024.

    Dominion Energy Virginia proposes to construct a 2,587-megawatt (MW) offshore wind project, known as the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Commercial Project, located within the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia, which will include associated infrastructure within the cities of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia.     The Virginia Port Authority proposes to dredge two new turning basins and to construct a stone berth within the Elizabeth River in Portsmouth, Virginia. The dredged material is proposed to be disposed of at the Norfolk Ocean Disposal Site, Weanack Land Reclamation Project and the Craney Island Dredged Material Management.

    Project: Dominion Energy Virginia proposes to construct a 2,587-megawatt (MW) offshore wind project, known as the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Commercial Project, located within the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia, which will include associated infrastructure within the cities of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has issued a Notice of Availability (NOA) for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for public comment, and has announced the dates and time of virtual public hearings/meetings.
