The City of Manassas proposes the construction of an in-line regional stormwater management facility that will assist the City in meeting Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) requirements. The approximately 24 acre project site is located to the southeast of the intersection of Rolling Road and Hospital Way in the City of Manassas, Virginia.

The city has proposed to construct a regional, dual purpose water quality and flood control best management practice (BMP) called the Richneck Regional Water Quality Retrofit and Flood Control BMP Project. The purpose of the project is to reduce the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sediment loads; and to reduce property damage from repeated flood events within the Stoney Run watershed.
