FEDERAL PUBLIC NOTICE

PROPOSED PURPOSE:  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District Regulatory Branch (USACE) and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) are hosting a Mitigation Bank (Bank)/In Lieu Fee (ILF) Meeting (Meeting) for environmental consultants and Bank/ILF Sponsors working within the Commonwealth of Virginia. 

The Meeting will be held on March 9, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Meeting will be held in person at the DEQ Piedmont Regional Office in Glen Allen, Virginia.

Meeting topics will include:

        - Permitting Enhancement and Evaluation Platform (PEEP) -     Module 
            for Compensatory Mitigation Sites
        - Revisions to Process
        - Monitoring Report Template 
        - Compensatory Mitigation Banks and Nutrient Banks
        - Topics for future meetings
