FEDERAL PUBLIC NOTICE

On April 7, 2020 the Norfolk District Regulatory Branch issued a Public Notice announcing a 30 day public comment period concerning the James River Water Authority’s Department of the Army Permit Application for the construction of a raw water intake, installation of raw water lines and the upgrade an existing access road for the James River Water Supply project in Fluvanna County, Virginia.                               

In accordance with 33 CFR 325.2(a)(d)(2), the District Commander hereby extends the public notice comment period until June 7, 2020.  A copy of the original public notice and associated application materials can be found on our website at www.nao.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory/JRWAPermit/

Comments on this project should be in writing and can be sent by either email to steven.a.vanderploeg@usace.army.mil, or by regular mail, addressed to the Norfolk District, Corps of Engineers (ATTN:  Steven VanderPloeg), 9100 Arboretum Parkway, Suite 235, Richmond, Virginia 23236.
