City, district holding reef habitat site public meeting Aug. 21

Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the city of Virginia Beach are holding an informational meeting Aug. 21 about Phase 1 of the Lynnhaven River Basin Ecosystem Restoration Project, the reef-habitat site.

The open-house session is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center, Building 19, Room A/B, 2416 Courthouse Drive, Virginia Beach.

The public can attend any time during the meeting window. City and district staff will be available to answer questions regarding the reef.
