Project Scope
This is the seond phase of gate construction at Langley Air Force Base, Va. The project will provide a new guardhouse and a 2,800 square-foot visitor center at the LaSalle Avenue Gate. The visitor center will include six work stations, a work area fo security forces and an office for the non-commissioned officer in charge.

Background
The two lanes at LaSalle Gate used to serve as an entrance for the thousands who work on Langley and as an inspection area for contract and commercial vehicles coming on to base. The large vehicles waiting to be inspected caused significant congestion at the gate.

The first phase of the project was construction of a large vehicle inspection station at West Gate at Langley Air Force Base.
