FORT BELVOIR, VA. -- The Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, completed in 2011, was designed with sustainable features including alternative energy, a green roof, stormwater management and water-efficient landscaping. The hospital, the construction of which was overseen by the Norfolk District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is triple the size of its predecessor, DeWitt Army Community Hospital.
