    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Norfolk District (Corps) announces an administrative correction to the 22-SPGP- LT. The 22-SPGP- LT was issued on August 4, 2022 and went into effect on August 8, 2022. Via this public notice we announce a correction to the wetland mitigation statement in Section II(b)(4) to properly reflect the 22-SPGP-LT compensation requirements, which are also listed in General Condition 21.

    Interested parties are hereby notified that multiple requests for permission to alter a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project pursuant to Section 14 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. Section 408) have been received and will be evaluated by the Norfolk District.

    Chesterfield County Department of Utilities proposes to construct a submerged raw water intake on the Appomattox River bottom, pump station, 3 miles of raw water transmission pipeline, and a water treatment plant on the northern side of the Appomattox River near the confluence with the James River.

  • NAO-2013-00418 CVOW

    Expiration date: 2/13/2023

    Project: Dominion Energy Virginia proposes to construct a 2,587-megawatt (MW) offshore wind project, known as the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Commercial Project, located within the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia, which will include associated infrastructure within the cities of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has issued a Notice of Availability (NOA) for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for public comment, and has announced the dates and time of virtual public hearings/meetings.
