    Samet Corporation is proposing the construction of a 219,000 square foot distribution warehouse (called Project Door) at the intersection of Dam Neck Road and Harpers Road in Virginia Beach, VA. The project will impact 0.73 acres of palustrine emergent wetlands and 2,523 linear feet of intermittent stream. The public comment period ends on February 28, 2021.

    The Bay Creek South, LLC (Sponsor) proposes to establish, design, construct, and operate a compensatory wetland mitigation site to be known as the Chesapeake Shore Mitigation Bank (Bank). The proposed Bank is located on approximately 298 acres of abandoned golf course, forest, and agricultural land and is located along Old Plantation Creek a tributary to the Chesapeake Bay in Northampton, Virginia. The purpose of the Bank is to provide off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result in unavoidable impacts to wetlands and other waters of the United States in the Lower Chesapeake Bay Drainage Basin.

  • Ocean View Dune Restoration – City of Norfolk, VA

    Sea Mist LLC proposes to restore the historic coastal primary sand dune landward of +5 ft NAVD88 via sand replenishment and plantings, and establish the development limits on West Ocean View Ave. in Willoughby Beach on Lots 1, 1A,2, 18A, 19, 20 of Block 24 and a portion of 11th View Street.
