  • NAO-2023-00311 (I-64 Gap A, New Kent County, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 5/9/2024

    Construction of additional travel lanes along I-64 in the first of three “Gap” segments that will adjoin segments of I-64 that have a minimum of six travel lanes. The proposed addition of a third travel lane in each direction will increase connectivity between Richmond and Hampton Roads. Public comments should be received by the close of business on May 9, 2024.

  • Federal Public Notice

    The Norfolk District Regulatory Branch is proposing to hold monthly meetings for Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Design-Build contractors (post-award) and localities operating under the VDOT Locally Administered Projects (LAP) Program. These meetings will occur on the second Monday of each the month, from 1-2pm, beginning May 13, 2024.

  • Proposed Reissuance Norfolk District Regional Permit 01 (RP-01) and Norfolk District Regional Permit 11 (RP-11)

    Expiration date: 9/21/2023

    At the expiration of the currently valid RP-01 and RP-11 the US Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District is proposing to re-issue Regional Permits RP-01 and RP-11 with no changes or modifications for another 5 years. Public comments should be received by the close of business on September 21, 2023.

  • NAO-2022-0448 / VMRC 23-4011 (SPSA Landfill Flyover, Suffolk, Virginia)

    Expiration date: 5/21/2023

    Applicant proposes to construct a flyover ramp to accommodate the Eastbound traffic entering SPSA landfill in Suffolk, VA. Currently, traffic accessing the SPSA landfill from U.S. 58 East Bound utilizes a median crossover, crossing U.S. 58 West Bound to access Bob Foeller Drive (landfill access road). Public comments should be received by May 21, 2023.
