    North Landing Beach RV Resort & Cottages-Virginia Beach, LLC proposes to remove gabion baskets, mechanically dredge and use the material for beach nourishment, construct piers, a bulkhead, a groin, and a timber walkway at 161 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The applicant is also requesting after-the-fact authorization for previous impacts. The applicant is proposing to mitigate for the 2.28 acres of vegetated, nontidal wetland impacts through the purchase of 4.6 acres of mitigation bank credits. Comments on this project should be received by the close of business on December 12, 2022.

    Dominion Energy Virginia proposes to construct a 2,587-megawatt (MW) offshore wind project, known as the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Commercial Project, located within the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia, which will include associated infrastructure within the cities of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. Public comments should be received by the close of business on October 15, 2022.
  • NAO-2017-01842, The Hurds Cove SSD project

    The City of Virginia Beach proposes to mechanically dredge for navigational access and the estimated volume of dredged material is 28,440 cubic yards. For permitting purposes and to account for shoaling, the volume has been increased by approximately 15% and the applicant is assuming a dredge volume estimate of 32,700 cubic yards to account for areas that have shoaled in. Thirty-four piling supported channel markers have been included to demarcate the SSD channels.

    PDC TN/FL LPIV, LLC proposes to permanently impact 0.46 acre (20,150 sq ft) of forested wetlands and 1.60 acres (70,895 square feet) of open water wetlands for grading of site for construction of paved employee and truck parking areas, fulfillment facility, and stormwater facilities for “Project Beach” at the 175-acre site located south of the intersection of Harpers Road and Dam Neck Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Comments should be received by the close of business on August 30, 2022.
