FEDERAL PUBLIC NOTICE
On October 1, 2015 the Norfolk District Regulatory Branch issued a Public Notice announcing a Public Hearing concerning Dominion Virginia Power’s Department of the Army Permit Application to construct a new high voltage aerial electrical transmission line in the North Hampton Roads Load Area (NHRLA), known as the Surry-Skiffes Creek-Whealton Transmission Line project.
The 10-day comment period following the hearing has been extended to ensure adequate time for review of the official transcript, which is available at, http://www.nao.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory/SkiffesCreekPowerLine.aspx. Comments will now be accepted through close of business November 13, 2015 and should be addressed to Randy Steffey, Norfolk District, Corps of Engineers (Attn; CENAO-WRR-S), 803 Front Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510-1096, or sent via email to randy.l.steffey@usace.army.mil.
