    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Norfolk District and the City of Newport News are conducting a feasibility study authorized by Section 14 of the Flood Control Act of 1946 as amended for a shoreline stabilization project along the north bank of the James River in the City of Newport News.
