    The Sponsor is proposing 7.53 acres of wetland re-establishment, 90.84 acres of wetland rehabilitation, 0.09 acres of wetland preservation, 8.13 acres of wetland buffer rehabilitation, 0.45 acres of wetland buffer preservation, and 2.64 acres of upland buffer preservation. The Sponsor proposes to generate a total of 106.33 non-tidal wetland credits via hydrologic and landscape modification and vegetation planting for the purpose of providing off-site compensatory mitigation for unavoidable impacts to waters of the U.S. associated with DA permits within the proposed Geographic Service Area (GSA). The Norfolk District will receive written comments on the proposed activity until July 9, 2026.

    BAE systems propose improvements to their existing ship repair facility by extending Pier 1, installation of a fender system, construction of a new bulkhead with a channelward riprap revetment, and the dredging of the berthing area on the Elizabeth River in Norfolk, Virginia.The purpose of this public notice is to solicit comments from the public regarding the work described in this notice. The Norfolk District will receive written comments on the proposed work until May 31, 2026

    Leesburg Gateway, LLC requests authorization to impact approximately 1.06 acres of nontidal wetlands, 0.03 acres of open water, and 2,464 linear feet of stream channel associated with the construction of a data center campus, associated infrastructure, and roadway improvements. All work is to occur within the Town of Leesburg, Virginia. The Norfolk District will receive written comments on the proposed work, as outlined above, until May 29, 2026.

    The Sponsor proposes to design, construct, establish and operate a stream and non-tidal wetland compensatory mitigation site known as SH-8 Mt. Sydney in the Shenandoah River watershed. The Sponsor proposes to generate approximately 11, 943 Unified Stream Methodology (USM) credits and approximately 35.64 non-tidal wetland credits through the completion of on-site restoration, enhancement, and preservation activities. Comments should be received by the close of business on April 5, 2025.
