    Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line proposes to construct the Southeast Supply Enhancement Project consisting of the installation of 55.3 miles of 42-inch-diameter natural gas pipeline (Virginia and North Carolina), additions to compression facilities (Virginia and North Carolina) and facility modifications (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama). The subject of this notice is specific to the actions of SSEP requiring a DA permit under the provisions of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, which consists of the proposal to construct 55.3 miles of natural gas pipeline known as the Salem and Eden Loops located in North Carolina and Virginia. The Wilmington District will receive written comments on the proposed work, as outlined above, pertaining to both the Wilmington District and Norfolk District areas of responsibility, until July 28, 2025.

    Mountain Valley Pipeline LLC is proposing the construction 31.3 miles of 30-inch diameter natural gas pipeline to transport natural gas from an interconnection point with the Mountain Valley Pipeline in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to an interconnection point with the East Tennessee Natural Gas, LLC system (East Tennessee) in Rockingham North Carolina, and then to two new delivery points in Rockingham County, North Carolina.
  • NAO-2022-0650 (Columbia Gas Virginia Reliability Project, Virginia

    Expiration date: 3/31/2023

    Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC proposes to replace 49 miles of 12-inch pipeline with 24-inch pipeline (Line VM-107 and Line VM-108) along an existing utility easement in Surry, Sussex, Southampton, and Isle of Wight Counties, as well as the Cities of Suffolk and Chesapeake, Virginia. Comments on this project should be received by the close of business on March 31, 2023.
