SAV & Reef Habitat Restoration Phase 1 Graphic

Focuses on restoring populations of Zostera marina (eelgrass) and Ruppia maritime (widgeon grass) in areas where seagrass was historically abundant. Phase 1, the Pilot Project, will restore 6 acres of SAV habitat with a fringe reef near Long Creek adjacent to First Landing State Park.
