NORFOLK, Va. -- Mark Hudgins, Norfolk District chief of Hydraulics and Hydrology Section, briefs officers from the Royal Bahamas Defense Force about the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ role in combating sea-level rise as well as flood risk mitigation measure the Corps builds and oversees. The briefing included a trip to the Norfolk floodwall in downtown Norfolk, Virginia to see a flood damage reduction structure firsthand.
