Gathright Dam officials cancel first pulse release

COVINGTON, Va. - Officials at the Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have canceled Wednesday's pulse release at Gathright Dam.

The Norfolk District has determined that due to current environmental conditions observed on the Lower Jackson River, the Pulse release from Gathright Dam scheduled on 27 June 2018 will not occur.

The remaining five 2018 pulse dates are scheduled for the following Wednesdays:

July 25
Aug. 15
Sept. 5
Sept. 26
Oct. 17
