    Tri City Properties, LLC proposes to fill 47.1 acres of forested non-tidal wetlands in order to construct a mixed commercial-residential development known as Centerville Properties on a 53.8-acre portion of a larger parcel (428 acres). The wetlands are adjacent to a tributary to Stumpy Lake and the North Landing River. The property is located on the east side of Centerville Turnpike North in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake, Virginia. Public Notice comment period ends February 19, 2016.

    The proposed action is to hydraulically or mechanically dredge the Wormley Creek Channel located at the United States Coast Guard Training Center in Yorktown, Va., to a maintained depth of -7 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) plus -2 feet paid overdepth and -1 foot non-paid overdepth for a maximum depth of -10 feet MLLW. Dredging of the Wormley Creek Channel will remove approximately 75,000 cubic yards of dredged material in approximately 6.8 acres.

The project is located on Maplewood Branch a tributary of the Appomattox and James Rivers and the Chesapeake Bay of at the intersection of U.S.n360 and Maplewood Road in Amelia County, Virginia.
