The Norfolk District announces the issuance of the Regional Permit 22 for construction of piers, boat docks, boat ramps, and boathouses; excavation of boat slips and channels; construction and backfilling of bulkheads and placement of rip rap; and installation of submerged and aerial power lines and utility lines on Lake Gaston within the state of Virginia. Effective December 21, 2023, this permit supersedes and replaces all previous versions.

Proposed Reissuance and Modification of the Norfolk District Regional Permit 22

The Norfolk District has proposed the reissuance and modification of the Regional Permit 22 (08-RP-22) that is scheduled to expire on Aug. 14, 2013. RP-22 authorizes the activities within the Virginia portion of Lake Gaston. These activities include construction and other actions on piers, docks, boathouses, bulkheads, riptrap, boat slips, channels, aerial powerlines and utility lines. Comment period ends Oct. 26, 2012.
