The Norfolk District is consulting further to develop and evaluate alternatives or modifications to the undertaking that could avoid, minimize, or mitigate adverse effects on historic properties. PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE:  The applicant proposes to construct a 100,000 square foot warehouse, parking lot, utilities as well as extend Harley Club Drive by 300 feet on 7.5 acres.  The applicants stated purpose is to construct a warehouse to meet the need for warehouse space in central Virginia that is not adequate to meet demand.  The project will permanently impact 0.52 acres of palustrine forested wetlands and temporarily impact 0.02 acres of palustrine forested wetlands.
