NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will conduct another round of aerial mosquito treatment Monday over federal property on Craney Island in Portsmouth.

Between 7 a.m.- 7 p.m., Eastern Aviation LLC – the district’s contractor – will spray liquid mosquito larvicide in the area. If weather conditions don’t allow spraying, the makeup date is Tuesday.

Beekeepers in the affected areas do not need to cover bees during spraying operations, officials said.
