Fort Norfolk to temporarily close to visitors

NORFOLK, Va. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close Fort Norfolk to visitors tomorrow through May 21. 

Contractors are install a new cooling tower at the Waterfield Building at Fort Norfolk during this time, and crane operations and other work require a construction barricade at the fort.

Fort Norfolk will reopen to visitors at 9 a.m. May 22.
